What is the Covenant Church?
The Evangelical Covenant Church is a rapidly growing multi-ethnic denomination of more than 750 congregations in the United States and Canada with ministries on five continents of the world. Founded in 1885 by Swedish immigrants, the ECC values the Bible as the Word of God, the gift of God’s grace and ever-deepening spiritual life that comes through faith in Jesus Christ, the importance of extending God’s love and compassion to a hurting world, and the strength that comes from unity within diversity.
Is Grace wheelchair accessible?
Yes, Grace is wheelchair accessible. Entry doors are equipped with automatic openers and an elevator provides access to all levels.
Does Grace serve communion?
Communion is served on the 1st Sunday of each month. Gluten Free crackers are available. We welcome you to share in Communion — All who humbly put their trust in Christ and desire his help that they may lead a holy life; all that are truly penitent for their sins and would be delivered from them; all that walk in love with their neighbors and intend to live a new life, following the commandments of God and walking from henceforth in his holy ways, to draw near with faith and to take this holy sacrament.
What is the style of worship at Grace ?
We have an eclectic-style of worship at Grace Covenant Church. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere that allows participants to draw near to God and worship him in a way that is meaningful to each of them. Our worship services include both traditional and contemporary styles of music. “Prayers of the People” allows those in the congregation to share prayer concerns. Some services may include more formal liturgical elements.
What services are available for children?
Grace has a staffed nursery for children ages birth through age two. From September through May, we also offer SPARK during the worship service for children ages three through Kindergarten. Kids are released for SPARK about a third of the way through the service.
