All-Church Retreat 2018

March 2nd - 4th, 2018

at Lake Beauty Bible Camp near Long Prairie, Minnesota

6pm Friday: we will depart from the church parking lot to car pool to Lake Beauty

Noon Sunday: we will depart from Lake Beauty to return to Fargo
(It's about a 2.5 hour drive).

For all ages, including families with kids. Kids sessions will run parallel to adult sessions.

Cost: $99 for adults, $59 for kids (5-and-under at no charge). Household limit of $200. Scholarships are available, so please don't let money be a factor that keeps you from joining us.

Neighboring Next Steps: Sharing our stories

At last year's all-church retreat, we kicked off the idea of Neighboring.

We considered the question, "What if God means for us to actually love our physical neighbors?".

In 2018, we continue that neighboring theme using material from the Gospel Fluency series by considering how to share our stories:

To listen well to our neighbors.
To share our own stories.
To point each other to Jesus' story.
To speak the gospel in our everyday lives.

Along with short learning sessions, time for discussion, and practice exercises,
these all-church retreats are a valuable investment to build-up our church body:

To have time-away together, to 'soak' in one another's presence.
To encourage one another.
To laugh together.
To play together.
To invest in building transformational relationships with one another.

Lake Beauty Bible Camp

Lake Beauty Bible Camp is a beautiful resource of our denomination, the Evangelical Covenant Church. It's a modern facility with talented chefs (so you can expect yummy meals from breakfast on Saturday through lunch on Sunday).

The rooms, are dorm-style for up-to-eight people. So families can stay together.

Lots of fun options are available for recreation, depending a bit on the weather. Including: Frisbee golf, nine-square-in-the-air, board games, card games, (we even got some jigsaw puzzling going last year).
